The media could not be loaded. When I first unboxed this, I thought I'd gotten a dud - the last two notes wouldn't work, and the lower notes were touchy as well. I almost returned it, but after a day of noodling, here's what I learned:
This thing is dainty! My other two ocarinas - especially my monstrous ceramic alto - need way more breath pressure to play, so I was thrown off by how delicate and even quiet this one is! Especially outside, it's only about as loud as if you were whistling to yourself. Importantlt - if you try and play too hard for too long, it WILL fill with spit, which kills the high notes. I have to turn it upside down and blow sharply into the 3 bottom holes to clear it, but it does clear. The smallest hole (right middle finger) is also literally so small my calloused hands can't even feel it, so a C#/Db is touchy...
HOWEVER: I bought this because I wanted a very small, un-shatterable, elegant necklace ocarina and I was not disappointed. The finish is gorgeous, it feels great in my hands, and it's sealed inside and out. This is also the only small wooden 6-hole I've found online. It's lighter than even my plastic soprano ocarina, so you barely notice wearing it. The necklace is just simple cheap cord, and requires some DIY skills to assemble, but the gift bag was very cute . Once you get the hang of it and clear it of debris - assuming your housemates don't mind the high notes - it's super easy to practice with. I wouldn't recommend this to someome who's never played before - get a plastic one to learn the fingerings before you try this one.

This was my first ocarina and I found it super easy to learn on and super fun to play!
I even accidentally ran it through the washer and dryer and it came out sounding better than new believe it or not, so A+ quality!

I really love the high octave too!
Since getting this I got their larger clay ocarina and I just adore the contrast in deep tones, it can't even reach this high an octave!

I like to switch between the two during a song to really hit the perfect high notes contrasted by the clays deep resonating tones and a larger variety of octaves,

Only con: it comes with a necklace with is a bonus but I can't quite get it to stay.
I laced it where the hole by the nook is, but I didn't like how it felt while playing.
I also didnt want to knot it so I just used a butterfly knot and it came undone and fell while I was walking around the house.
Not a scratch though!

I love this thing, I don't know much about Ocarinas, but it is cool and seems good quality.

This is about as portable as a music instrument can get! It's very well made and the tones are spot on with correct breath control. Being that the instrument is so small, it is very unforgiving when it comes to proper breath pressure. Practice makes perfect. My only complaint is that the instructions and songs are for a 12 hole ocarina, not a 6 hole. The cloth storage bag has a nice floral design on it, and is a nice addition.

Ringing sound in a light package. Neck strap was just string though, not jade anything. Lovely smooth wood feel and sound. Not so tinny as an ocarina of similar size. The birds will chirp back at you. Good to carry with you, goes with everything, and useful for fidgeting.
