Item as described. Would buy again!

Our family has been passing a cold back and forth to each other so I thought this cough syrup was worth trying. My 3 year old was congested to the point where he was having trouble sleeping so we thought this medication was a good option.
We did the usual of having his humidifier on, saline nose spray and this with the recommended dosage of the medication. We saw no changes of symptoms with this medication whatsoever. We tried two doses in a row in one night before switching to a different kind of medicine, to which we immediately saw a change.
The next night we decided to try it again just in case it was a fluke again we gave him one dose and then waited and gave him the another dose after waiting the recommended amount of time. We saw zero changes of symptoms from this medication. The third night my son was just aa sick, just as congested, and we gave him the other medicine and immediately saw a change in symptoms.
Again I tried this medication when her other medicine wore off and saw no changes in symptoms I would not recommend this medication to anyone.

Wrong item, the photo is for the kids dosage and the infants showed up. I even paid rush shipping because I needed it for my sick daughter! No Bueno

I have three children under the age of 4. So my choices for OTC medication are limited. My oldest has always struggled with upper respiratory infections / partial pneumonia so I pay attention to coughs and mucus. And like another review said - I'm incredibly cautious when it comes to "homepathic". Most of the pro-homeopathy comments always boil down to "it worked for me" or "people have been using this stuff for years"; in other words, anecdotes and testimonials. I want science not personal stories.

HOWEVER, when your baby is coughing and won't stop....and science says you can't give him OTC medicine...I'll grab this stuff. This isn't a scientific review ok? Don't hold me to those standards. But this is how I tested my personal experience. My 1.5yo had a "productive", mucus cough for a few days. I timed his coughs and they were about 1-2 coughs a minute. I timed him for an hour (so about 60-80 coughs) I gave him 5mls of this and he started coughing about once every 3-4 minutes. A significant drop.

My theory is...this gives their little bodies *just* enough break to allow them to RELAX and sleep. And sleep allows the body to heal. His cough cleared up pretty quickly after this dosage. He slept well that night and so did Mommy. A job well done in my non-scientific opinion.

Kids and colds happen every year and this time so I wanted to have this on hand for when my grandchildren visit. One is very susceptible to colds with tons of mucus. I liked this product because it homeopathic/natural without any aspirin, acetaminophen, ibuprofen, naproxen, pseudoephedrine, dextromethorphan, sugar, artificial flavors or dyes to relieve symptoms of colds, including accumulation of mucus in chest, throat and nose, runny nose, sneezing and nasal congestion. Be sure to get the right product for your child's symptoms. This product is NOT for sore throats, headaches, fevers or body aches. They do have a cold and flu formula for those symptoms.

It is recommended for ages 2 - Adult (dosages are clearly instructed) and since I am the one with the cold, so far the grandchildren haven't caught this bug, I am the one taking the medicine. It has improved my breathing and the mucus is clearing. I am still using cough drops to soothe me sore throat.

I must also note the flavor isn't bad but then again my taste buds are off due to my cold. The kids will be the better judge on that.

I am glad to have this product in my house. Only one caution -in my case it did make me drowsy, but that could be because of my cold as well.
