I use the Chemex pour-over coffee maker and this kettle really does make a difference - my coffee is better. I think it has to do with the water being the right temp and the small spout. Overall a great product. It's comfortable to hold/use and the pour spout is fabulous. The only issue is, although it holds 1.2 Liters of water, you can't put more than 1 Liter in it or it will boil over. It would be great if the manufacturer would label the kettle, so we know what volume to fill it too.

I purchased this as a gift for my coffee loving fiancée. He loves using this to heat water for pour over coffee and tea. The thermometer works great. I don't think we'd want to attempt a pour over without this product. I also love all the attention to branding and client satisfaction from this company. The directions are interesting to read, and the company sent an ebook that goes along with the product. Would definitely purchase this product again and would be interested in other Coffee Gator products as well. Top notch.

I realize how much I like my coffee, using my Pour-Over kettle. It's the zen-like process of setting up my brewing equipment. Almost like a Japanese Tea Ceremony!
Now I'm at the car repair shop, drinking their insipid K-cup brew. Coffee I make with my kettle takes 3 or 4 minutes but it's so much better than the 'Instant' coffees...
The kettle is beautifully made and handles nicely.You'll be delighted with the ergonomics as you hold the kettle. The water temperature can be read exactly from the thermometer on the cover. Be careful not to let the lid fall off when you pour. If you're a newbie like me, do watch the You-tube instructional videos. Enjoy!
