Generally, a solid, well-made and attractive product. Still waiting to figure out how the exposed permanent marker name/address lines are going to withstand air travel...

PROS:
1. Tags are bright and fully plastic, no flimsy paper inserts that can fall out, suffer from moisture, or suffer other damage, and it feels great!
2. A permanent marker really works and leaves distinct (hopefully permanent) text on the white text strips.
3. Metallic attachment rings are solid and well-made, way better than old-style leather strips that tended to break or tear apart after some [inevitable] airline abuse

CONS:
1. While my daughter was able to write her and mom's name and address on the white strips neatly, these are too narrow for my clumsy fingers (didn't even try to do the writing myself). I would suggest reducing the number of these strips but making them taller, to make it easier to write text. Four lines of text should be sufficient.
2. While permanent marker is supposed to stay ... permanent, I would prefer to have a thin, transparent plastic cover (only attached on one side and bendable) to keep it from airline damage.

The Highwind Lugage tags worked out wonderfully for my family and me. We relocated recently from TX to WA and had to check a lot of bags when we flew. We wanted tags that we could both recognize easily upon arrival and would stay intact throughout transit, these preformed wonderfully. I will probably buy new ones the next time we travel because unfortunately once you write on these there's not much hope in getting the writing off again, I tried rubbing alcohol as suggested by another reviewer but to no avail. Other than that however LOVE EM!

Bright yellow tags, wrote one with a sharpie. Seem to work fine. I ordered them because yellow is my favorite color and I figure I can spot my bag a little easier. Using them to fly from Denver to Seattle and on a cruise ship.

The first thing you should know, is these are completely rubber (no paper parts) tags, on a thick wire ring that has a twist lock closure. The second thing you should know, is now that I have used them, I absolutely will not be without them ever again. Once written on with a permanent marker, these tags are almost indestructible. I was on a trip with a large team of 18 people. and our suitcases were all crammed into the small truck bed of a pickup truck and stacked on top of stacked. Mine rode one trip on the top of the stack (in the wind), and one trip crammed in the bottom with no mercy. All this after surviving two plane trips with four airports. Other people's flimsy little paper tags were ripped off somewhere along the way, losing all their information. But not mine! Also, what the picture shows looks like two single tags, but they actually give you two sets of these. So I took two of them and made them face each other so my info was covered and not visible in plain sight. The yellow was bright and easy to spot in the airport, as well as the rubber texture. I'll never use anything else!

These have only been on a trip or two since purchase, but I like them so far. The main reason I want a luggage tag is to help me identify my bag when I'm picking it up at bag claim. These are bright and noticeable and do the trick They seem heavy duty and I like the sturdy metal cable that connects to my luggage. On one bag, this replaced a leather tag where the strap eventually broke after use. I am confident that the same won't happen with these tags.

I wrote personal information using a Sharpie and that seemed to work well. Perhaps the lines could be slightly taller to make it easier to write contact details, but I took my time and it worked out well.
