Great for hats

I needed these needles to knit a hat. I got it made and it turned out great. These will really help me to make more hats.
I love this set

I love this set! I purchased both this set (along with the long-tip needle set) and am so glad that I did. The needles have a smooth finish to them so the yarn moves nicely across the row. The connection between the tips and the cable is continuous and didn't come apart while knitting. I've had problems with other interchangeable knitting coming apart in the middle of the round. I've knitted a couple of hats and so far no problems.

The canvas bag was a "bonus", which was nice. It's simple, sturdy and strong enough to carry my knitting projects, needle case, yarn and patterns. It also has an inside pocket to carry smaller notions. It's just a tote, but it's always nice to have an extra one.
Love to knit

It's perfect for what I wanted this set. Arrived promptly, I like its color coded with the rest of the needles, that way you exactly what it is you need! Cords are great and very nice looking case!
Great needle set

Details: cords are 10". Needles are 3.5, so, you have @ a 16 inch full length once the needles are screwed in. I attached a photo of what you get...minus the instructions I didn't take a pic of.
Much better than I ever expected! I love them!

Honestly, I bought these because I could not afford a 2nd set if Addi interchangeables, and I needed two sets to have back-ups of each size. I was not sold on these needles when I received them - the grain of the wood annoyed me, hanging up on the yarn. Within a few days, though, I noticed that the hanging-up had stopped, and paused to pay attention to the difference. It turned out that the slight rubbing of needle against needle and the slide of the yarn itself up the needles had polished the surfaces to where they slide like butter! I realize I will have to go through the process with each size point pairs, but it has made these my go-to set, now. I suppose there is some project I might prefer the Addis for, but I can't think at this point what it would be. I love the feel of the wood now, and have even bought a back-up set of Knitters Pride short-tips - this time in Cubic so I can have the backup needle size all in KnittersPride. I'm currently working on an ambitious project of a calf-length shawl, and having the time of my life using one set of size 8s on either side of the front panel. Oh - and I find I knit more gently on the wood than I was doing on the steel. I just respond differently to it - and my hands thank me (RSIs.)
