Entertaining... but not energizing, or even flavorful.

This is a novelty at best. No remarkable flavor (bland even, slightly burnt maybe? Drinkable but Folgers classic is better..). As far as caffeine... laughable. I have never been so tired as the few days I drank this. My coffee thermos holds 36 oz. and that's what I drink every morning. I nearly fell over in the operating room I was so tired these days! Humorous, entertaining, not something to be considered for regular caffeine needs or enjoyment. My husband enjoyed the thought though as it was a gift. He likes Starbucks French Roast though and I'm Folgers Classic (brewed like mud, cold and day old).. so maybe there's no accounting for taste here...

I was under the impression this product packed more of a punch. I bought this for my coffee fiend husband. The writing on the back is hilarious and he still loved it. When I noted the light color of the grounds I has some concerns about freshness. The flavor was not that good and could for some reason taste a metal flavor. I hate to say this but I have had a better coffee at a truck stop. Had high hopes for this coffee but I can only serve it to my neighbor who drinks cains

Coffee has become part of my daily routine and this coffee has surpassed all others. I drink my coffee just plain and black. Banned coffee has emerged as my favorite over any other competitors. I've tried all the name brands and other "super strong" coffees but banned coffee has met all of my expectations and surpassed them. It's smooth, non-acidic and packs a good punch to wake you up. I will continue to recommend to anyone who is a daily coffee drinker to at least give this a shot. Especially at this price. A+

Taste is ok but as far as caffeine strength, I really don't feel it. Kinda disappointed in that. It gives me the same "energy" as my regular coffee which is about 1 hour of productivity before I start getting a bit sleepy. Trying another brand that claims the same but probably won't buy this again.
