It does a good job. But it isnt easy to use, takes effort, but it does work.

I debated on the $149 unit for a while but went with this unit because of the ability to add water while cleaning. Also I decided on the middle of road $700 unit b/c I believe you get what you pay for. I plan on using this for many medium-heavy duty cleaning projects around the house and on my vehicles. My first project to date was cleaning my 8 year old son's bathroom. We routinely wipe everything down with Clorox wipes on a daily basis b/c he has yet to learn how to shoot straight :) After injecting steam into the crevices of the toilet, the odor immediately knocked me in my face!! OMG, there was years of trapped dried up pee in the crevices in and around the toilet. There were streams of yellow rolling down the side of the toilet from the condensation for at least 2-3 minutes. I kept injecting the steam until the condensation turned clear. Afterwards I tackled the restroom floor. Even though we mop 1-2 times weekly, the towel on the steamer head turned yellow-brownish with crud, despite us mopping with cleaning solutions. 24 hours after cleaning his restroom, we were delighted with the smell of brand new house. I give this thing an A++ for its ability to tackle restrooms.

My reason for only 4 stars is because the parts seem a little flimsy and I'm concerned that I may be purchasing replacements at some point in the future. Maybe its because the steam is so hot that the plastic parts get soft and have a cheap flimsy feel. Only time will tell. Also, its possible that the $149 unit will do just as well as this one...who knows. For my future projects however, I think this unit may do better in the long run. In addition, I believe this unit came with additional accessories.

I did a detailed review on many types of steam cleaners available on the market prior to purchasing the Dupray ONE Plus Steam Cleaner with the complete accessory kit in October 2019 and have been using it extensively ever since. My main reasons for choosing the Dupray ONE Plus Steam Cleaner was the high steam temperature and the two-tank system allowing for continuous cleaning without any downtime. Many steam cleaner reviews mentioned issues with low steam temperature and how things would be soaked with water after use. This is not the case with the Dupray ONE Plus Steam Cleaner. I originally purchased the Dupray ONE Plus Steam Cleaner to clean our main bathroom prior to placing our home on the market. The bathroom fixtures were over 15 years old and we were thinking that we had to replace them. I was able to clean all the fixtures as well as all the tile flooring and walk-in shower. Everything looked brand new. The cost of the Dupray ONE Plus Steam Cleaner was far less than replacing the bathroom fixtures! Purchasing the Dupray ONE Plus Steam Cleaner paid for itself in the first week of use! What a great choice. I have cleaned many tiles floors since then and I am always satisfied on how well it cleans the grout. I cleaned a commercial space prior to a friend leasing the space. She felt that she would have to install a new tile floor. I cleaned the whole floor in no time and it looked great, saving her from having to hire a professional to rip out the old tile, prep the space and install new tile, which I am sure would have been much more than the full price of the Dupray ONE Plus Steam Cleaner. This is one investment that will pay for itself many times over.

I write very few reviews, but if you're reading this and wondering about that """30-seconds of steam and then you have to wait"""-problem reported by the 1-2 star reviewers... fear not, this product works, as already said by other reviewers.

Those people reporting on the waiting times have, most probably, not read the instructions of the device.

Not in any of the recommended usages it is said to put the steam to max, it's always either low or medium.
And believe me, in medium or high (not max), you can clean for hours, and I know cause the first two days of using it I cleaned parts of the house I did not even thing they were dirty, but they were.

Why not 5 stars?
- The locking mechanism of the handle gets in the way all the time, and I need to unlock in many situations, annoying.
- The steam pressure dial in the handle is OK, but just about, it's rather cheap looking and to the touch, and it's hard to know where is it between MIN and MAX, which leads me to:
- The device has a feel of quality, but wheels are not for example, nor the handle and other connecting parts, everything else yes, good solid plastic.
- The cable is not auto-retractable, so it's always around, not a big deal, but yes, annoys sometimes.
- The extra cleaning pack recommended is not worth it $80, not in a million years, it's just some extra nylon and steel heads and some microfiber covers. It's good to have? maybe yes? but not for that price (the bag is handy to put all the stuff, including the original things, but you can use any other bag around)

Otherwise, it works great, steam and temperature are more than enough for anything I've thrown to it so far, and 3yr warranty is nowhere to be seen in other similar products or brands.

Thought it would work better or rather differently for flooring and rugs. Glad it works on mirrors and glass and furniture. Wish more cleaning clothes would be included in the accessories. I will have to purchase additional cleaning clothes in order to do multiple projects in sequence. Otherwise I will be using the same soiled clothes.
