used in a power supply so far...the barrel is plastic and pretty sturdy. solder didnt readily stick to the terminal and I was afraid to heat it too much fearing I would melt the plastic. it comes with 2 tiny nuts. I had to fashion a connector to get a good connection. so far so good

Work great for a little DIY project I was doing with a PSU. My only complaint was that these things are TINY. I havent used binding posts before, but the rear area to connect wires to was hilariously small, making it hard to get the terminals I had soldered together on. That being said, they work great with banana jacks and I havent had any issues out of them, just be warned youll need some TINY wrenches to get these tightened down. Also the nuts on them seem to be in SAE not metric, I ended up using a 5.5mm for the larger lock nut (but it definitely seemed better with the SAE equivalent) , and that 7/32 for the 2 nuts that clamp the wires in.

Excellent quality for price, plastic is solid and stiff. Had all come with no issue. Bananna plug depth is 11.9 mm, fits multimeter bana plug good, and tight. Has a screw on binding hole a of approx. 3mm. Should work great for my desktop power supply project.

Product was just as expected. Binding posts do come apart in their various pieces during shipment, so they have to be assembled and tightened up before use. Other than that, they are fine, all of the pieces were there at least. Time will tell if the plastic threads on the posts will hold up under the metal threads of the locking nuts.
