I have two of these. I use them for a portion of my bicycle commute home at night, and then I take them off. So far usage has been approx 40 minutes (blinking), and no issues, the spare batteries are still in the packaging. The reason I use them is to have a wider profile when riding my bicycle in traffic. I use these in addition to my front and rear bicycle light. The reason for the four stars is that they could be a bit longer. I am 5'11 and 220 pounds. Although my arms are not huge, they are not skinny like a petite female, and if I was to use these for jogging, I would want them to feel more secure.

That was a waste. I have used this to run on my late night (Thursday) the last 3 weeks, and the opening where the light slides in has already separated. I could have bought disposable ones for cheaper to use just three times. And of course, return eligibility is closed.

Bought these for my son to wear when jogging in the dusk or early morning. He wears them on the ankle or wrist comfortably. They're bright enough to catch the eye of drivers. Bought this to keep an eye on my little one at night while camping this summer. Works so much better than a glow stick as it's much brighter and the band is wider and lasts night after night. It was bright enough to use as a night light for a few hours in the tent too. Really like that it came with an extra battery too. Huge plus! Edit: I started using this as soon as it arrived in early August. It came with three batteries, so I assumed there was a strong chance the batteries would die quickly. The last week of August, the light in the bracelet was very dim at the end of a run, so I switched the battery. It seemed to work fine, until I was 5min into my run. It died. Luckily I was with others in the pitch black dark pre- sunrise, so they were visible to cars, and I ran between them. I got home, and tried it again. Seemed to be working. I put it on this morning and again, after 5 min, it died and wouldn't turn back on. Time to switch to the light up belt that all my friends use. This lasted a total of 2 months or 25 4 mile runs.
It does what it's supposed to do. But, since it's basically a light up slap bracelet, it ends up digging into my bicep if I wear it on my arm. I put it on my right wrist, and I'm good to go. It came with three button batteries too, which will be super helpful! I do feel much safer wearing this in the wee hours of the morning. When other runners pass me without even reflective gear, I'm amazed they feel safe!
