Beware from "Directly shipped or fulfilled" by Amazon

There is something really wrong going on with Amazon Warehouses "supposedly" Temperature controlled storage.
I had experienced like what other recent reviewers here mentioned with the food shipped by Amazon.
I had initially bought 1 box from CVS to try it those bars out, and then I went ahead I bought an additional 2 boxes that are "Shipped and fulfilled" directly from Amazon to stock up.
The ones from CVS tasted fresh and tasty, while the ones from Amazon tasted stale and dry. I even felt like vomiting after I ate them.
I looked at the expiration date for both and the Amazon's package says expiration date is May 2nd 2018, while the ones I had from CVS says April 22nd 2018. Both were purchased mid Feb 2018.
I managed to get a full refund from Amazon, but reading those reviews from other recent reviewers as well (even on different brands of protein bars than here) made me lose all my trust in Amazon food products.

This is my go-to breakfast bar and flavor. I order these by the truckload. They taste great and they are sufficiently sweet but not disgustingly so. The texture is a unique and satisfying one, being somewhat crunchy and somewhat chewy. Finally, the new lowered pricing on this cannot be beat. KIND bars are pricey so it's nice to be able to buy them at this price.

Ordered these despite never trying KIND bars before and they met my expectations. The bars are on the smaller side, perhaps slightly larger than a credit card. There are two bars per pack. They may seem small but I was surprised at how filling they were, for 220 calories. The honey oat flavor actually tastes like honey (rather than some generic sweet flavor) but it's not too sweet, which I don't mind. Texture-wise, it's not a crunchy bar but it's not super chewy. Your jaw will get a workout chewing through these bars which forces you to slow down when eating them.
If you're looking for a granola bar like a Nature Valley or Quaker Oats Chewy bar, this isn't it. Overall these do exactly what I bought them for - provide a small, convenient, reasonably healthy snack that'll tide me over until my next meal.

Super addictive if you like peanut butter and oats. They are my everyday breakfast with coffee and sometimes a late night snack too. I am so glad Amazon sells them in bulk and they are FRESH!! A few times when I could find them locally, either a package or the entire box would be very dry and clearly stale.
