I'm using these for a craft project and they're perfect! The wire is super bendy and sturdy and I only had to use glue on the end piece and the battery pack to keep everything in place. I've seen a lot of reviews complain about short battery life, but for $7 I wouldn't expect too much. At the same time, that price point is amazing because I need to buy a lot of these lights! I don't plan to have these lights on for more than a few hours at a time so I don't think I'll have much of a problem, and obviously batteries don't last forever.

I am happy with these, they're what I needed. However, the wire is not copper. It is more silver. That doesn't bother me, I wasn't really looking for a particular color metal, but if someone is, I'd go find some elsewhere. I was surprised with how tiny they were when I opened them, I was expecting a little bit bigger for some reason, but they are still very bright! The little white battery pack is barely a 1/4" thick and 1 1/2"-2" long, so it will be easy to hide. I don't know about battery life, but I'll be using them for a wedding, so I only need them to last part of a day, which it sounds from other reviewers isn't too much to expect.

Very pretty lights. I needed to test them so I can tell people how long the batteries last. I put the string inside a jar to highlight a fairy inside it. The batteries lasted about a week and when I replaced them with fresh ones, the brightness was 10 times as bright which told me that the ones that came with the string were weak to begin with. Tonight, testing begins again. I still can't believe how much brighter the lights are with fresh batteries. Wow!

Great little product... I took a chance and purchased these for outdoor wreaths during Christmastime. I used two strands each for 4 wreaths (8 strands altogether) that I hung on my windows the week after Thanksgiving. I only turned them on a couple of episodes before Christmas as I didn't expect the battery life to last long. I live in New England and these darn things were good through a couple of rain storms, a snow storm, and sub-zero polar-vortex. I turned them on on Christmas Eve and from then on left them day and night. It is now 1/2/17 and the lights have slowly dimmed, but not one failed. I'm very impressed at how they held up. Attached pic is from about 12/29.

The description does say "silver colored" copper wire; that could mean the wire is tinned copper (gives off less heat) but in any event I knew what I was getting. The box they came in says that the lights are waterproof but the battery holder is not. I wish those posting negative comments (for this or any other Amazon item) would give the company's customer service a chance before posting. These come with a thirty-day warranty. The attached image of the fireplace garland is two strands in a medium-lit room in evening. It'll be fun to use them for decorating the Christmas buffet, popping into a bowl of glass ornaments, etc. I'm happy I bought them.
