Does not work well

Just missed the return window .... gave as a gift to go with the other magic track set my grandsons have. Tracks are compatible however normal cars are not compatible with the loop. The cars alarm maybe ten minutes and went much slower than the magic track cars. With two batteries per car this is too expensive to run for ten minutes!!!!

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my 3 yo grandaughter, because the TV brand couldn't ship in time. It arrived on time and she loves it! It's actually great fun for the entire family, and the neighborhood kids as well. One of the cars doesn't do as fast as the other, but that's okay. She has a birthday coming up, and I'm about to purchase additional tracks and cars. The batteries go fast, so I would invest in rechargables, and have plenty available.

One of my children received this for Christmas. The track was nice, but I was not impressed with the two vehicles that came with the track. The vehicles gears keep popping out because there is too much slop. We order other vehicles compatible with the tracks, since the tracks have the 360 loop not all Mindscope vehicles are compatible. Make sure if you have the 360 loop track that you order vehicles that say they are for the 360 loop. Amazon was sold out, so we had to go through a third party to get the extra vehicles. A 3-Pack of extra vehicles is $24 or more.

The track is great and the kids really loved this toy but the cars work terribly! They keep getting stuck in the loop and one car is so much faster than the other that they end up just running into each other. I thought maybe it was just the batteries so I changed those and that didn't help. I made sure the track was put together well especially the loop and that didn't help much either. It's a great idea but poor engineering on the cars. Cheap engineering. It's a shame cause the kids do love the idea of it but were disappointed over and over again by the cars not performing very well.
So much fun, but be careful

This toy is very fun, but not very sturdy. My son was able to break the clip in part of one of the loop tracks without very much hand force (he's 2 so he's not that strong anyway). He loves this set though and it keeps him entertained for quite some time. But if you have a small child they need to be supervised when playing with it as it breaks quite easily. I just wish the track pieces were a bit sturdier.
