The Nootle phone and tablet holders are great. I have one of each. The corners which hold the tablet/phone are made of a hard yet someone pliable plastic. The springs seem to very be tight and overall this is a no brainer.
I use both to monitor and set focus on a Canon camera using DSLR Controller (check it out int the Google Play store).
If either of these were to break (which I highly doubt) I'd buy another.

I bought this in the spring to use at school to hold the iPad so we can record our morning announcements to post online. It worked great the last few weeks of school. Of course we were off for the summer and school just started up about three weeks ago and the back of the mount busted out and the iPad fell off, fortunately into my hand as I had just placed it on the mount.

This is a nice sturdy holder and holds my iPad Pro 12.9 very securely. I would totally trust it to hold my pad without loosening. What you attach to this back is all on you. So be careful with that part.

Very happy with this impressive holder. I got it with the Grifiti Nootle D-Ring Mini Ball Head to hold my iPad on a stand while shooting with my CamRanger. Very useful and what I liked the most is that it worked securely with my case. Not the cheapest mount available but the quality is very important. Very Happy
