At first I thought, "Wow this is huge!" But it flattens very quickly. We've allowed it ample time to fluff and spent several days breaking up the chunks and tossing and fluffing it. Only to find that you'll nearly hit the floor once you've used it a few times. Fluffing in between each use is a MUST for adults, but not as needed for smaller children. My biggest disappoint that I noticed is once the chair was fully fluffed there were several faint brown stains all around the chair. Since we purchased tangerine so at first I wasn't sure if they were shadows, but when we started flipping it around and investigating further we found they're some sort of stain. Very disappointed that I received a recycled or returned cover. Ours also had tons of little foam scraps all along the zipper line that I had to vacuum and use tape on and they still haven't all come off, it would be fine if you could keep the chair in one position, but again you must move it around and fluff it constantly to sit somewhat comfortably.

I am in like with this chair. It is very comfortable, but you have to sit in a leaned back position. The photo with the girl sitting upright is misleading. I don't think it is possible to sit like that for anyone that weights more than 50 lbs. Eating in it, for example, is difficult when I am laying at an angle. I have to put a pillow behind my head or I wouldn't be able to be using this computer right now. I would be looking straight up.

When it comes out of the box it is a brick. Fluffing like they say helps, but it takes 2-3 days to fully expand. The first 24-hours I was disappointed. It was not comfortable and my butt was on the floor. By the end of the 2nd day it was more like the picture. By the 3rd day it started holding and keeping its shape. It gets a bit better every day. Rolling it around helps puff things up, but it turns it into a big round ball. Have to sit in it to get it to take shape again. Picking how to initially sit in it is important to get it to form more like a chair (sit closer to the front of the ball, not the center).

Something to keep in mind is this thing is really big and really heavy. This is not a small beanbag like you may have had as a kid. This is a large round piece of furniture. It takes up quite a bit of space. Being heavy, it will slide, but it isn't something that can easily be moved from room to room or taken up stairs. Possible to do like anything else, but it isn't exactly portable.

This is not like an old-style beanbag chair, though it looks somewhat the same on the outside. It comes in a box, with the foam squeezed down into a rock-hard cube about a third of the size of the finished chair. They must squeeze it with a car-crusher to get all the air out of it. When I took mine out of the box, it was compressed into a small canvas bag with a zipper. You unzip the zipper, and peel the canvas bag off from the foam, which is somewhat challenging because the foam starts to expand a little as soon as you start unzipping it, and there is a layer of plastic inside that catches on the zipper. After you get it out of the canvas bag and the plastic bag, then you see this rock-hard cube with a wrinkly cover over it. I pulled on the cover to loosen it, then I tried rolling and breaking up the foam as it advised in the instructions. At first I could not get the foam to break apart whatsoever. I got on my hands and knees on the cube, and I am not small, and I bounced and rocked it until the corners started to crumble. I pulled on the edges of the foam with my hands (you're not supposed to take off the cover) for about 10 minutes until I was all hot and sweaty like I had been doing aerobics, and the foam cube was still not even halfway broken down. I let it sit for a while, on the principle that air would start to seep into all the broken edges and let the foam expand, and it seemed to work. I just went back and got the foam mostly broken down. Now the chair is fairly soft and big enough to sleep on (the 5 foot size). It has a weird chemical smell. Despite the difficulties of getting it set up, I gave it four stars because I think I will end up liking it. I suppose that compressing it into a rock is the only way to make the shipping affordable, because the box is still big enough that UPS could barely squeeze it through the door. Do not expect to sit on this right out of the box and watch a movie, because it literally comes out of the box more like a table than a chair. But it does work as promised if you are patient and persevere. // It is about a week later now, and I am adding to my review. I have not had a chance to use this yet, but my cats have decided it is a giant cat bed that will accommodate three cats at a time. The cats are pretty much using it around the clock and ignoring the cat beds I bought for them last year. Hopefully they will share when I get around to needing it.

I love this beanbag!!! I did about a month of research into all the different oversized beanbag that exist and finally settled on this one. I was scared because of the variance of satisfaction in the reviews but honestly, I'm in love. I'm 5'5 125 pounds and I can honestly take a nap in it whole body fitting with my knees a little bit bent. I watch Netflix on it for hours and though it may sink a little bit, it still offers optimum comfort. It's a great addition to my room and is the best purchase I have ever made. Highly reccomend. Price is pretty OK compared to other bean bags too!!! You definitely get what you pay for, in a good way :)

P.S. I was a little unsatisfied with the comfort of it for the first week but after about 2 weeks or so all the bumps went away and it was extremely comfy!!! I also had it turned on the wrong side for a little while, definitely look at the seams closely to make sure it is right side up!

Although my husband calls it the ugly grey blob, I love it! It is shockingly huge, but very comfy and very relaxing. I can easily be lulled to sleep for a nap just by sitting in it for five minutes. Once you sit down in it, you won't ever want to get up!
It's the most comfortable seat in the house!!!
