We recently got these to wear while bike riding since the people in our neighborhood seem to speed through without paying much attention and we wanted to be more visible. These are highly reflective and easily adjustable. I tend to wear mine a big high, mid torso because I'm bent over on the bike but it could be adjusted to be worn low waist for a standing position. It is adjustable at the waist as well as the shoulders. The plastic clip is easy to do and undo and is very secure. The bands are made of thin, flexible, wide elastic. It is comfortable to wear. We definitely wear them when riding in the evening or at night and sometimes I even wear it during broad daylight just for more visibility.
