I really like this callus remover; especially because other brands charge so much more for basically the same thing. I have what may seem like a strange request; I would like to be able to purchase rollers with a finer sandpaper. I desperately need something to remove my peeling skin. The Dr. says it is only dry skin, but it is all over my clothing and my whole house. I lightly used this callus remover on a patch of skin, and of course, got a burn, but it sure works! Wouldn't it be nice if this were a multi-tacker for those of us who have peeling skin?

Over the last few years, I've been periodically obsessed with softening my feet. Lately I'd been letting them lapse but after a week spent walking barefoot in the sand, they were dry, cracked, peeling, and callused. This electric callus remover is my third and best purchase to date. First I tried a Ped Egg, which is basically like using a cheese grater on your feet and about as strenuous as trying to grate a hard piece of Parmesan. Then I went with an Amope remover which certainly required less effort but needed to be constantly refueled with batteries. The Own Harmony callus remover operates like the Amope, although the roller is considerably narrower and the whole thing weighs much less (thanks to no batteries). I love the idea that I can just run and run this thing without worrying about needing four more AA batteries. I had already worked away at my calluses for a couple of weeks before I bought it, so I can't say how it would manage gigantic calluses but I see no reason why it wouldn't work just as well as the Amope. I don't think it's reasonable to expect overnight results if this is your first time trying to whittle away your calluses. They didn't get there overnight, after all. With patience and using this device about 10 - 20 minutes a day, I think anyone would see amazing results within a week or two. I also recommend applying lots of foot cream (I love Freeman Bare Foot overnight cream). There are even gel socks you can wear. Once you get those calluses off, you are going to love smooth feet that don't snag socks or hose and that feel and look great.
