I purchased two of these for my keychains for emergencies and ended up giving both of them away because they were coveted so much by others! This is really a handy little tool to have on your keychain in an emergency. The pliers are easy to use and fit nicely in my small hands. The blade seemed sharp enough to cut through a seat belt but was not razor blade sharp (I would pass it over my whetstone) the one thing we did notice is some people had trouble shutting the device. You need to squeeze the pliers in order to twist the sides closed and compact the device again. I love this and will need to buy more (one for me this time) for Christmas presents.

Apparently you need to be younger and stronger to use this. I'm 47-admittedly not as strong as I used to be...but I could not open this thing. My husband had no trouble opening it and using it, so I gave it to him. I'm bummed. I'm a CNA/Med Tech; I work in an assisted living, and sometimes I need a tool for something that comes up unexpectedly. It's well made and sturdy; I have no issues with the quality of this product. :( but it's too difficult to open.
