Very good support and very comfortable! I first purchased these two years ago in preparation for a trip to Eastern Europe and they kept my legs comfortable and prevented swollen ankles despite the many days of walking! I ordered again since one or two pairs are not enough for a long trip and it's too much to wash them multiple times during a trip. Unfortunately, my third pair only lasted for two wearings before getting a hole in the toe area!

These socks were a tight fit for my wife at first; but with gracious assistance from Buttons & Pleats, we added a second pair in the next larger size, and she alternated between them, using the 2nd pair for light activities and the original tighter pair for athletic walks and exercises. The arrangement worked well and her leg problem has improved considerably. We're grateful to the company for its courtesy and help.
