Excellent! Exactly what we needed. We have a 75 pound 5 month old Rottweiler. He is very intimidating. This has allowed us to hold the leash closer when people, other dogs or cars are near. It's also helping when trying to walk on the sidewalk and stay on the sidewalk. He likes to walk onto others yards or around cars. This keeps him nice and close when needed and then leeway when troubles are not around. Only con so far (I think it's a puppy thing) is he is the type of dog that wants to "play" with the leash, the closer loop gives him an easier bite and tug area. Overall I am very pleased with this purchase.

This is a great leash! A bit less pricey than similar ones, and better quality than most of this type. We're very happy with it. Nice and strong, and can handle our 75 lb bouncing fur beast. Padded handles are quality too! One great thing on this one- sometimes the second handle on these kinds of leashes dangle and dogs can get tangled. Not so here as it is is flush with the leash. We will be checking out other Primal Pet products since we're so happy with this leash.

This is a wonderful leash ! It is very well made and the second handle gives you control when you need it. The Labs sometimes think it would be fun to sniff a cactus, Out here in Arizona the opportunities are limitless...LOL..so short leash control is a real blessing to keep them close at hand and away from things that stick,poke and stab inquisitive noses. Also works great getting through the "Treat" aisle at the Pet Store..They cannot put everything they want into the cart, .I love it and the Labs give it a 4 paws up !

Hiking with 2 Siberian Huskies is challenging and having a good leash is important. I have gone through at least 6 different leashes in 8 years. This is my FAVORITE hands down. It's comfortable, it's easy to hold and I love the shorter loop to bring the dogs closer in to me. They are great for camping and putting a carabineer on them to tie around a tree for times when I can't hold them. I love the color and they are easy to wash and when they dry they don't stink like nylon leashes did.

I ordered this leash to replace a two year old Kong Traffic leash that my friends dog chewed up. The new Kong traffic leashes are terrible with extra buckles that make no sense and bungee sections for? I'm not sure.. so I looked on Amazon and found this one. It is exactly as described and a excellent quality for the price! I think I prefer a 4 foot least because that's what I am use to, but this one is perfect for heel while walking and giving my dog that extra lead to do her business.
