It's been a couple of weeks since i applied this. It looked great and there has bee some fading at this point, but now there's a black residue, a powdery substance left on the surface when i put my hands on it. I wiped it with a paper towel just today and you can see the residue on the photo i have attached. I used this on a 2009 Lexus RX350 black trim, around the base and rear hatch area. These areas were cleaned thoroughly and wiped down with rubbing alcohol before application. Perhaps it will go away and not happen in future applications, but this is what happened with my first application. Will update if anything changes, but for now, it gets a lower rating as it stands.

I have a 2017 Cadillac XT5. It has a lot of black trim around the lower body and portions of the front and rear bumpers. Recently I noticed that after polishing my car there was some polish smeared on the black trim which I had difficulty removing without complete satisfaction. I also noticed that the black trim was not quite as clean looking as new several months ago. After a lot of research of products and reviews I selected this one. Last week after thoroughly washing I began to apply it with the supplied small round sponge. It is completely clear, slightly thick but pourable as not not run of the sponge. I sparingly applied it. Before my eyes I could see the perfect non glossy results I wanted. Very clean and fresh looking without that shiny gloss you often see delears and detailers apply to tires for example. It quickly blended away the auto polish smears and I actually did all of the trim in a few minutes. I did the inside door foot well side kick plate areas. You can readily see if you miss an area. Simply go back wipe it on. If you apply it too heavy you will easily see the excess. Blend it away or wipe it down with a soft cloth. I went over all of my trim shortly after with a soft cloths and had no residual feel of a product. Could not have been more pleased with the results. Even my wife who is a car clean and shine perfectionist said "Wow". I am impressed.

This product is by far the very best plastic and trim restorer I have ever used--that even includes the ArmorAll Ultra Gel ..For some unknown reason, they decided to rename it as a "tire gloss" gel, so I decided to try TriNova and am so glad I did....Every other product I have used don't keep the restored look very long and some start to loose it within hours of application--but not TriNova..I applied this product several days ago on the black plastic trim on my bumpers, mud flaps and door handles on my 2004 F350--they still look like the day I drove it off the lot.. Even better--a small amount goes a long way...I highly recommend TriNova to all finicky detailers who want a long lasting look and shine..

Another great product sold by TriNova! I purchased this with the hope in mind that it would restore my rubber trim as well as the tire dressing restores the rubber on tires and I am very pleased with how this restores rubber to "like new" without making it look wet, it just revives the rubber and leaves no wet finish...it just looks new! I have purchased a few of TriNova's products and so far they have all been great, packaged nicely, arrived on time (or early) and are very nice to deal with!

I bought this product because the description on Amazon said it would work by "By darkening and shining surfaces, this restorer is the solution you're looking for to revitalize your car or motorcycle." I feel that is a little misleading. It does "darken" as in, if something is black, it will make it darker black. I was expecting something that would "blacken." However, I was educated that what I was looking for was something else. The customer service department here is top-notch. They took care of me quickly and courteously.
