I have painted the south wall of my house so far. It has changed the temperature of these rooms significantly. What used to be the hottest rooms in my house by 2-3 degrees are now 1-2 degrees cooler than the rest of the house. I plan to paint the rest of the house but we are having triple digit weather this week. June 2017 The Great Central California Valley

Stirred this into 2/3rds gallon of Henry's aluminized elastomeric paint (roofing coating) and it made a good insulation undercoating for the floorboard of a truck, after the paint was dry I also applied a 1/16" automotive heat barrier product (self-adhesive fiberglass mat with aluminum on exposed side) - before treatment the bare metal floorboard was so hot it melted the cosmetics in the owner's purse sitting on the transmission hump *HOT*, after treatment you can comfortably rest bare hand on the metal floorboard *lukewarm*. Apologies for the subjective comparison (I did not measure before/after with a heatgun) but it easily cut 40-60 degrees off the surface temp for a total expense of an afternoon and $150 for all materials - I will definitely again use ThermaCels in future vehicle projects and builds.
