To all those people complaining about it not holding the right amount of LIQUID, nowhere did it state that it held that much liquid. It holds that much FOOD. Common sense tells you a domed lid is going to provide additional space. I found the 16oz were the perfect size for individual meals, but unfortunately those are no longer available.
