renders the USB port useless. You need the test button to "wake up" ...

I used this product twice and the test button to see the battery charge level does not work, which, in turn, renders the USB port useless. You need the test button to "wake up" the battery to charge anything off of the USB port. So, I went from being able to see the charge level and charge 2 devices to only being able to charge one device. Sadly, I missed the return window for this product. The only reasons it is not going into the garbage is that I can still charge one device off of it and the external battery ports make it easier to hook up my trolling motor.
Buy a plastic box and do it yourself.

I would have felt better if I just bought a plastic box and did my own wiring. Due to one of the terminals being loose on the Negative connector a tiny arc occurred resulting in heat which eventually smoked and melted the negative side of the box. The terminals were not secured well enough to loosen the wing nuts. when it came time to disconnect the motor the wing nut terminals didn't loosen, they just spun 360 degrees tearing up the plastic and loosening the nuts and lock washers on the inside of the box. Overall this is poorly designed and overpriced. Not worth purchasing.

The strap broke at the plastic connection point first time I went to tighten it up. Would give it more stars besides that. Great product. Works well and very convenient.

Received the battery box today but there are parts missing. There are not nuts for the terminal connections.
Charge indicator worked inconsistently
