Buy this and then buy different valves

Buy these and then get nenesupply valve for Avent . Those valves make all the difference - much better suction because of different valve! I hated the nenesupply replacement flanges because how the ends were designed. Bought the Spectra flanges and used these valves and have the best of both worlds. They are easy to remove and have incredible suction. Spectra - I suggest you copy the Avent valve design if you can...they're bettter than those duckbill valves you sell with your product. How's that for consumer feedback.

I am kicking myself for waiting so long to order these breast shields and suffering with the 24mm that came with the pump. It comes with 24mm and 28mm and i think it's absolutely ridiculous that you can't order the pump with the size you need, but either way i can pump in peace now.

I think while the bottles are decidedly low quality - the spectra flanges work beautifully and the duck bill and membrane are very well made. at 8 months of frequent, but not exclusive pumping level use I still haven't needed to replace them. Spectra customer service is also amazing - their facebook page responds back within a few hours and fixes everything.
I wish the flange would cup a little more breast, but this is still a quality product that I am more than willing to pay the current 25$ price tag on.
