I was skeptical that this would be worth the money or that I'd actually use it after buying it - but decided to give it a try during one of my 2am nursing/amazon shopping sessions.
So glad I did! This thing is amazing and I actually consider it to be a necessity now. Its a simple product that's easy to use. I just pump straight into my bags, use the edge of the kitchen counter to help squish out any extra air, then stick it in this "flattener" and pop it in the freezer. Sometimes, I pump 2 bags in one session so I just lay one on top of the other and put them in together (I don't know if you can tell but there's 2 bags in the picture). I've used it with medala, parents choice, lanosil, and kiinde bags and it works great with them all (note- kiinde bags you have to put the hard bag opening up against the outside edge so it is only flattening the main part of the bag).

With my first baby, I felt like we had frozen milk bags everywhere- they were like deadly projectiles falling out in my face when I opened the freezer door so I'd spend half my time trying to find the oldest dated milk in the explosion of frozen milk bags before attempting to stack them back in the freezer nicely.

Now with my second baby, the frozen milk is always neatly organized and I can easily get the oldest milk from the front/bottom and put the newest milk additions to the back/top (depending on how it's stacked). I've even had the ladies at daycare comment on being amazed that I can get the bags so flat, how nice it is that they can easily stack the bags in their freezer, and ask what magic I used to get them that way.

If you're someone that is working on a stash of milk in the freezer and want a neat, organized system then I'm sure you'll love this nifty thing as much as I do!

This item does exactly what it is meant to. It's easy to use and compact to store but it is pricey. When freezing breastmilk, the idea is create a stash which means you're probably going to be freezing multiple per day to actually store enough for feedings. If you have the freezer space, you could do the method with sheet pans and definitely be able to bag and freeze more at once. If you don't have the space and have the extra funds to spend, then I'd buy at least 4 of these so you don't have to keep going to the freezer and switching it out during the day.

It does what its intented to do but the velcro straps are annoying to use and I find myself not using it sometimes.

It performs as advertised, so now my milk storage packs efficiently. I wish the velcro closures were different, because it's a minor pain in the butt. It looks like they may have redesigned it to just have one now though.

Overall they get the job done and it makes the bags flatter than just laying them in the freezer however the one complaint I have is the Velcro closing is kinda a pain and I can't always get the bags level one side ends up being tighter that the other.
