Getting ready for the winter

Finally broke down and replaced my old Uggs (still good except for footbed fur being worn off). Was surprised but pleased to find a size 8 Navy Blue here when Zappos (owned by Amazon) was sold out. I'd read on Zappos comments that "new" Uggs are sized smaller than the "old" ones, so wrestled with what to order. Finally ordered a size 8 to replace the old size 7, and the fit seems exactly the same. Very hard to get on over my high instep, but as the leather stretches and conforms and the fur packs down in the next couple of weeks, they should fit exactly as before. I like a snug fit. I don't wear socks with Uggs and I don't want the heel slipping enough to flop with each step. (Always make sure your Amazon purchases say "Ships from: Amazon.com" and "Sold by: Amazon.com" to avoid third-party sellers.)

They Were Everything I Wanted In An Ugg; but I had them before and wanted something more colorful, different and fun. I returned these and kept a different pair. They are real Uggs, the label is just different from my older Uggs. It is the same Label that The Ugg Shop and Ugg Webpage shows in all their photos.

I love these Ugg boots. I needed a pair of shoes to wear around the house and out and about to keep my feet warm during the winter. They are true to size and so comfy. I will most likely wear them throughout the rest of the year they are so wonderful. I always wondered about them when I saw others wearing them and decided to see what all the fuss was about. Now I know. When I wear these out, and I don't expect that will be for a long time, I will definitely buy another pair.
