Magnet could be stronger, as long as you make sure it is stuck to a very flat solid part under the car, it should hold. Easier to mount on truck frames than cars. If mounting to cars, try radiator supports or other thicker flat metal. On large trucks inside steel bumpers works great. Keeps contents dry well too.

I bought this to conceal a mini GPS Tracker. The tracker just fits nice and snug. The magnet is nice and strong. Find a flat surface to stick it to and its glued on. I wish that it had a simple buckle latch instead of 4 screws, one for each corner to close it up. But that's just me being lazy because you'll never loose your device or get it wet with 4 screws. ( I only use 2 when it's not wet outside). I bought a 2nd one for hiding valuables in the home. The lid has a little ridge on the inside that locks in to the box making it water proof. It has a foam cushion attached on the inside of the box to protect your contents. It's not real big depending on what you want to place inside but it does work for the TK102B GPS Tracker. I attached some photos to show the ID size of the box.
