I was able to install these myself on my suitcase (which surprised me). I just had to find info on the web about locating the wheels from inside the case. They work well. I just wish I had gotten slightly larger wheels so the case is higher off the floor while rolling. Next time I will.

Fixed a suitcase that was in great shape, except for the wheels. Winter in Michigan and salt in parking lots destroyed the bearings on an otherwise perfectly good suitcase. I felt is was worth attempting a repair and these were just right. Suitcase rolls like new. Installation was easy, but removing old wheels took some effort and tools that not everyone may have.

I had to modify axle somewhat as it was too long, they work fine. Less expensive then replacing suitcase. Used on a 15 year old Samsonite travel bag. I had to drill out the rivet in order to remove broken wheels.

Replaced 4 wheels on Kenneth Cole Reaction suitcase. Cutting the axles on the original wheels required some effort ( I used a #18 metal hacksaw blade). I also used a few drops of light machine oil on the bearings. The wheels spin freely. Will not know anything about durability until my next trip.
