E. D. - or - L E D - - or - LED which spells led, pronounced the same as LEAD but means something entirely different. These a normal light bulbs that work without Mr. DEE's LED that do flicker. They get hot. LED do not. If that's a consideration than go with the without warmth of a newfangled LED bc Mr ELL E DEE is only $250b behind Elan Musk in net worth.

these bulbs are fully dimmable and would sell a lot more if amazon would indicate in the top description that they ARE dimmable. i hesitated a long time before i purchased these, because i didn't want to go thru the hassle of returning them if they did not dim.
Haven't used them yet, was restocking for future use.
