Got this for a convention and I had no idea it was a disc shooter! MADE ME LOVE IT MORE!!! I'll be the awesome-est Wonder Woman (and possibly the oldest...ugh...) at the Kon! I'm still tempted to go outside to shoot one in the air now just so I can bounce it off the shield! Honestly, I was just looking for a DC Girls look in a Wonder Woman shield but what I bought was way cooler than I expected, let alone set out to find in the first place.

I was surprised by the quality of this! My 4-year old picked this out to go with her Halloween costume and it's the perfect size. Might be a little small for anyone over 8. The handle isn't too difficult to squeeze to shoot the stars (which eject with a surprising amount of force, I might add) and it is fully adjustable. It's been through the ringer so far and has held up superbly well.

It is exactly what we wanted! It's durable and works well. It was a little hard for her at first to shoot, but she just turned 5 and she is small for her age. But she got it down after practicing. Now she has a cool shield to use when she dresses up in her wounded woman costume.

My girls are greatly enjoying these shields. The shooting disks are really cool but three were lost in the first battle with their cousins and based on other reviews not the most easily replaced. Detracting a star for the lack of discs. This is a great buy, a lot of fun, seems fairly sturdy, shoots well without issues, shoots FAST & HARD so not for inside use. Even if your daughter isn't a big WW fan but likes to have Nerf wars this would be a good addition to the arsenal.
