I actually got these to prop up some bookshelf speakers so they'd be angled down as the speakers on shelves above my head. The rubber grips nicely, and the metal hoop is an added touch. They are smaller than I expected, but this is not a bad thing. They are doing what I need them to do. I've not tested them on a door but the rubber grips well enough, I imagine they work well. One thing to be wary of, the rubber does not seem to be glued to the wood, but a loop, so there is the possibility the loops could come off. HOWEVER, if they break at least you know you can replace them somehow.
Nice for home use, not commercial.

This might work well for domestic, light doors; however after 2 minutes holding a commercial steel door the rubber band snapped. It is also much smaller than it appears.

Nothing special about this. It holds the door open. Not particularly sturdy and not particularly cool looking, though it's fine. For me, I'd say you might as well just get a regular rubber doorstopper. Except that you can only get 6-packs of the regular ones on Amazon, and the 6-packs cost about the same as this. So if, like me, you only have one office door that needs to be propped open, and you are too lazy to go to an actual store and buy a rubber stopper, then I guess you could go either way--six regular doorstops (5 of which never get used) or one of these--and be fine.
