Not quite in kuulaire's weight class...

Honestly, I am underwhelmed with this cooler. I used to have a Kuulaire that blew a lot stronger, and had adjustable evap cooler setting on it to allow one to control the amount of water being pumped thru the media. This one works OK...but it's just doesn't pump as cool as the Kuulaire did. When this one dies, I will either buy another Kuulaire, or maybe a honeywell.

Purchased late in the spring to keep the garage cool this summer, but let me tell you, it saved our lives during the little heat wave we had just recently. Our a/c unit sits in the sun and in the after noon the a/c decided to "freeze up" when it was running to keep us comfortable. The heat was just bad. Had to wait at least an hour, running only the a/c fan to take care of the freeze. Our a/c guy advised us to do that and it did work. The SPT unit was brought into the house, put a large plastic lid under it, filled it with water and ice and boy did it make a difference. I put it back in the garage late in the afternoon each day to cool off the garage. Great unit. So glad we have it. Worth every penny and if it goes out, will buy another.
Don't waste your money

This item hasn't even last 2 months. I can't use it because all the water comes out each wheel area. product defect!!! I wishcoukd send back and get my money back!! Huge waste of money that I can't afford to throw away!!

1st one didn't work but company was totally professional and we got replacement fast. Hubby works graves and it helps his day sleeping in heat.. tremendously!

I love this cooler. The only issue I have had in 3 years of owning one is that I am not able to tell how much water is in the tank because of dirt build up on the view bar. The alarm lets me know when it's low. But I own two now.
