Not a Penny but gets the job done

I've had this little board for about a year now and I've gotta say there are a lot of good things and a few bars things here. First as a board for cruising it works great. I leave it in my car just in case I have to skate that last mile to my destination or in case I wanna explore on a whim. For that this board is perfect. You're not gonna land many tricks on this thing. It's just not designed for that. In its entirety it's good. A few negatives that have already been suggested are the fact that this board is very very flexible. If you weigh over 190 or so prepare for a learning curve. You're gonna have to learn exactly how you have to stand and push. Not too tough to figure out but still. Be ready for that. Another negative is the trucks. I'm not sure if it's the bushings or just the way the trucks are made but there's very little adjustment to be had. It's either super tight or mid squishy. Not that you want super loose trucks on a board so small but if you're brave and take corners quick and sharp the trucks aren't gonna give you too much twist. These complaints are so minor though. Got a solid little cruiser for less than 60 bucks. Bearings are still ok but those will get replaced when the wheels get replaced. It's my filming board as well and the rubber wheels are actually great for this. Right amount of give and quieter than any board. It's not a Penny but for what you get it's more than good enough.

First of all I'm going to apologize for writing a thesis. So it took me a while to order this particular skateboard. I had owned a traditional style skateboard, but I had no interest in doing tricks I just wanted to use it to cruise from point A to point B. But little did I know it could barley do that, it was loud, obnoxious, and ineffective. If I tried to ride I would have to push 2-3 to go 15ish feet. So I stopped riding it until last week. All my friends have longboards and said if you want a board just to cruise, why don't you get a cruiser/penny board. I looked up some videos and found this one. AND IM SO GLAD I DID. The soft wheels make it almost dead silent, compared to my other skateboard that was loud and obnoxious. When you push once with this board it takes you 20ish-30ish feet. Which is basically doubling what my skateboard could do. And to loosen your trucks or wheels to give you better turning radius etc. you would have to buy a thing called a t-tool. These multi tools cost about ten dollars, but this board had a matching color one for free. Which in my opinion is a bargain. I totally recommend getting this cruiser IF you are wanting to ride from your house to a friends house/gas stations etc. DO NOT GET IT IF YOU WANT TO DO TRICKS. It is possible to do tricks but that is not what this board is meant to do. If you want to do kick flips and shuv-it's, get a traditional skateboard. But I totally recommend this board to any one that is interested.
Notes- I think it could hold more but just be careful because the "weight limit" is 220 pounds. And because penny boards bend to give it its own suspension it confused me from going flat piece of wood (skateboard) to a bendy piece of plastic. So don't think you will be able to ride it immediately, practice and get a feel for it and then begin.

Like other consumers just as yourself

Like other consumers just as yourself, I did a lot of research (aka reading other reviews) before deciding whether or not I wanted to buy this cruiser board. My experiences match most reviewers as well. The skateboard is very durable and stable. It is exactly as described. There seems to be a little less flex in the board than claims, but I actually prefer for it to be like this, so this suited me well. The wheels work fine and I had no problem with them. The board itself is as pictured. The white with rainbow wheels are a little off color though. The entire skateboard has a less metallic color feel to it than pictured (I'm definitely thinking the picture was taken with exaggerated lighting or filters). But the board looks good regardless. I gave it four stars though because like other reviewers stated, the product smelled like smoke / ashes upon arrival. The outside of the box did not smell too strong of it, but once you open the box, it kind of hits you. My board and the inside of the box does smell like ashes and smoke. The smell does go away though, but I would have preferred for it to not smell like ashes in the first place, because it's a skateboard...not an ashtray. The T tool is very useful as well. It the perfect fit and very compatible.
Initially concerned about flex and bearings....but

This board met all expectations! It arrived on time and had all the parts it was supposed to have. The box was a bit beaten up since it wasn't packaged in a larger box, but that didn't seem to affect anything with the actual product- so no biggie. I ordered the White Panda and the board itself it beautiful. The trucks are painted perfectly and the board has a nice gloss to it when outside. I was a bit scared when I first got on because the middle section bent much more than what first seemed like it would. But the flex didn't cause any issues when I actually rode it outside. Keep in mind that I am 19 and roughly 150 lbs, so it was of concern at first that this board could snap under me (sure hope it doesn't, I really want this one for a long time). I had to loosen all the bolts at first because they were a bit tight, but once I did, everything was smooth and moveable.
I was concerned about the quality of the bearings and how long the wheels would roll for before I bought this board. Before loosening the nuts, the wheels only spun for 1-2 seconds. After loosening the nuts, they spun for a good 4-6 seconds. Not bad, but I do know that the Penny Board brand's wheels spin for a bit longer. Nevertheless, the wheels are still great and provide a good, smooth ride outside. It's a good match to the Penny Board brand and for waaay cheaper. I would much rather drop $55 for this than $120 for the Penny I was about to buy.
The t-tool is a definite plus. I was hesitant to buy this board at first because it is ~$10 more expensive than other similar boards on Amazon, and I didn't think I'd need the tool. But immediately after opening the box I needed it and was reassured that I made the right choice with this brand because of that. Overall, a great purchase and am looking forward to the exercise and fun it will bring!
