Work perfectly; excellent bargain

I almost cried when the dog ate the kitchen remote. I thought it would cost $50 to replace, but I saw these and took the chance.
They work perfectly! Set up is easy, and there are even the little stickers that tell you which tv the remote is programmed for.
I may need them on a Dash button...

Great price for dual remotes

Great price on replacement remotes. Who knows how remotes ever get lost? My wife and I like to have two remotes - one for her side of the couch and one for my side of the couch. A year later, we eventually found our missing remote. (I think it got hung up inside the couch, out of reach, and took that long to wiggle loose.) Now we have three remotes, one each for my wife and I and the third one for the kids to use.

Arrived on time and undamaged. These are OEM units with a little extra. My older unit would not program to my new Samsung TV. These new ones (2) work with it!!! Woohoo! We have had a slight problem with one unit though. Changed the batteries and nada it stopped working. Ran my finger vigorously over the buttons and it started working again. I don't know for how long though ...

These are Directv remotes and they arrived quickly and were excellently packaged.
HOWEVER, you should maybe be aware that the Genie series (HR44, HR54) will only pair with one remote at a time. If you buy a second remote for convenience, the second remote will NOT pair with the Genie receiver. I had the Directv tech out here to verify this. Shame on Directv.

HEY!!!! After the tech left the house, I bumped the new remote as I was about to store it and heard an audio response from the sound system. BOTTOM LINE, I was wrong. and Directv was wrong... I was able to successfully program all three remotes to my HR44-500 DIRECTV receiver, plus my Samsung TV and Samsung sound bar. My best guess is that when the remotes themselves did not trigger any messages on the TV screen, using the buttons on the face of the receiver did, but the exact process is a bit fuzzy I'm afraid. Many apologies, I cannot explain the earlier failures. Some things seem to be by magic and not logic

This remote worked perfectly as soon as i put the batteries in and the remote automatically recognized my tv ,One more process and it connected my sound to the remote. I had no problems at all with the remote. Extremely easy to work. It programs itself. . all my recorded movies are where they should be. Nothing was changed or missing. Great product.
