I have been using the system for about two months now. I waited to review it to give it the time it should be allowed. I normally use it every night before bed. Sometimes if I feel more congested I will also use it in the morning. It is easy to use as long as you read the directions.
The first week I did seem to notice that I felt more congested after using it. I do have known under developed sinuses which means they get "clogged" very easy. I have always had weekly sinus headaches. This last month I have had only 2 sinus headaches which is huge for me!! I LOVE this thing! My message therapist went and bought one after I told her about it... hopefully she has as much success as I am!

It took a couple times to be able to use the Navage comfortably. The trick is to sing while irrigating. You don't even need to sing out loud. Just mouthing the words will work. I do the ABC's. Twice. And I'm done. Very easy to assemble. While heating a cup of water in the microwave for 30 seconds, I am able to put the entire system together. Afterwards, I rinse in warm water. Also, rinse with white vinegar a couple of times a week. The salt packets that are included make using the system very straight forward. No mess. It is fail proof. Once the salt packet is in and snapped closed, just give it a little shake to mix. If you forget to insert the salt packet, it will not operate. The Navage is much neater to use than a regular netti pot or NeilMed bottles.

Worked great for 6 months. Broke. Am stuck with several packs of overly expensive salt pods.

UPDATE. Within hours of posting this, review, I received a call from the company asking to do some trouble shooting. After agreeing something was wrong, they immediately shipped me out a new one and some replacement salt pods. I wish every company worked like this.

I LOVE this product!!! I have major issues with my sinuses and went through the whole roto rooting process of polyp removal 15 years ago and that didn't even help. I use the Navage twice a day and have had some significant help with keeping them clear. I am not going to lie and say it has them 100% clear but it helps keeping them flowing and not becoming so plugged I cannot breathe. I had a concern about the way the base fitted and wrote customer service on a Sunday and by the time my computer shut down and I walked away from where I was sitting my phone rang...it was them!!! They answered all my questions and addressed my concerns and everything is great now. I wish I would have taken down the name of the rep so I could give her the proper recognition she deserves but I dropped the ball on that. If you have any problems with your sinuses or just need an occasional flush out...this is by far more superior to the neti pot. You do not have to lean over and tilt your head you get to stand erect and let the system do all the work. It has a gentle suction system to retrieve the water as it runs through your sinuses, the customer service is more superior to any I have ever dealt with and the rep also made sure to let me know if I have any other questions or concerns to just let them know. Do not hesitate to pull the trigger on this purchase you will be 100% satisfied as I am!

I have tendencies towards bad allergies and sinus headache, so I have to rinse my sinuses regularly. It took a minute to get used to using the Navage. Make sure you used distilled water. I used warm distilled water, but then decided It was too much trouble. It doesn't take long so the room temperature distilled water is okay.

I find that if you swallow with your mouth closed while pushing the button in half-way, it creates the necessary seal. After you get that seal, press the button all the way and, with your mouth closed, keep swallowing or keep your tongue up against the roof of your mouth or sing la-la-la. I find if I don't so this, the salt water will also drip down my throat. Not a big deal, but it's better to keep the flow to the device.

I do one direction, then switch the flow and do the other direction. I also do it during the day, not night. I found out that the device does get the salt-solution all into your sinuses and does a good job flushing. But when you bend at the waist, gravity causes the water that's left in your sinuses to drip out. It's not much, a drip or two, but you'll want to keep a tissue handy for a couple of hours after you use it.

I use the Navage to supplement my sinus rinsing, maybe once or twice a week. I use the Simply Saline canisters as my twice a day regimen.
