Good use for weed whacking

We use this on our weed whacker to cut down California weeds (grass) on the farm. To feed our cows, goats. Faster way to cut down thick grass. Don't cut big rocks and boulders. Or you need to order more blades.

As has been shown on "Project Farm" YouTube video this brand of blade lasts significantly longer than others. First let me explain that my brush clearing technique involves leaving the sapling stumps no higher than 1 inch above the ground as a tripping hazard. So there are many times of the blade comes in contact with dirt. I rented a brush saw that came with an unknown blade brand with carbide teeth. Within 15 minutes of use it didn't seem to be cutting well and I found that all carbides except for five were missing from that blade! I had been careful not to hit stones I believe I did not touch any.
I changed to this blade which I had ordered before the rental in anticipation of the job.
I continued the clearing process occasionally touching stones for another 30-40 minutes. While fueling up and checking the machine over I noticed that one carbide was missing on this blade. I continued using the same blade and at about an hour into of the job I noticed The blade taking significantly longer to go through the 1 to 2 inch diameter saplings than before. At this time the blade was missing two carbides and the teeth obviously dull.

Blades are very light, thin but strong enough to withstand rock and dirt hits. It's so nice not having to deal with trim lines breaking off, having to go through multiple passes through thick weeds and shrubs. It's like a motorized scythe. The edges of the blade is designed so weeds don't get stuck near the hub. Shaves off hours in a day's work.

Using this to cut saplings it'll last for about a days worth of cutting. Blades will begin to bend and become off balance safer about a days worth of cutting.

The blade that came on my "brush cutter" was absolutely useless. I had given up on it as the weedeater did a better job. It sat for years unused after that, was a real disappointment. And then i tried these blades. Absolutely amazing. I cleared out a spot in maybe 20 minutes that would have taken a few hours. Big vines i would have used a chainsaw on, just rev it up and swing into it. Cuts like butter.
I did have to cut the edges of my guard off to get these blades to fit but it wasnt a big deal. Totally worth it, buy them!
