Does the trick, just be sure to measure correctly.

The listing is a little odd. The product is actually better than the listing suggests. First the listing suggests +- 1mm. It is much closer to +- 0.1 mm on the two sets I received, just like any other spokes I have ever ordered. The product is non-magnetic steel and I believe they are some grade of stainless as listed. These are just like any other 2mm spokes I have ever ordered, and they appear to be legit Bavel spokes in a sealed bag from China. The hub end has the "B" as they should if they are legit Bavel spokes. The provided nipples are coated brass, again just like any other spoke nipples that aren't aluminum. The nipples are not copper as the listing suggests, and I;m glad. The nipples are pretty long, and have threads nearly the entire length. For an amateur trying to build or fix a wheel this is nice because the range of acceptable engagement is wide in case your measurements are off by a mm.

If you want Sapim or DT go buy them. If you want legit China spokes, these get the job done. I'll update If I run into any problems with the builds, but these should be good to go.

What can I say? they are spokes!!! In my own opinion they are of the same material and as sturdy as so called higher quality ones around the internet... prior to buying these spokes I would buy dt Swiss spokes so I was basically paying twice the price as these until I tried these spokes out. I refuse to pay the outrageous prices for wheels so I buy my own wheel hubs and bare rims and build my wheels myself to save money.. I only buy these spokes now anytime I build a wheel which is often because I enjoy putting them together and to have extra wheels on hand, the nipples could possibly be a little better quality, but if you know what you are doing these work perfect, I haven't broken one of these spokes yet till this day or stripped a nipple. I keep my bikes inside the house so I can't really say if they rust or not because my bikes or wheels do not have rust on them at all. Check out the pics of some of my wheel builds. I only have trek and specialized bikes, these are the bikes I use these spokes on the majority of the time. You can't beat the price either as name brand spokes start at about a dollar a spoke alone... that's why I think the folks with bad reviews either don't know they're doing or just had shipping or order issues but as for the spokes they are well above fair quality in my opinion great quality for the price...

I have built literally thousands of wheels over the past 45 years and have used most of the different manufacturers spokes during that time. I have used this brand before both in a new build/ rebuild process, and as an individual spoke replacement for a repair. I have always had a good experience with the Bavel spokes and my most recent purchase is no exception. The head diameter of the spoke flange at the end of the J-bend is consistent and of the proper diameter as compared to some of the other brands I have used (as an undersized flange will ultimately result in failure with a hub pull-through), and the spoke length has always been consistent with variances of less than 1mm. In addition, the radius of the J-bend is sufficient to allow for use on hubs with thicker flanges. Several other brands I have used have an insufficient bend radius which can result in a bind-up when inserting the spoke into the hub flange and rotating the spoke to the rim. The finish on the spokes and the spoke nipples is very good and I have not had any issues with corrosion on either part. No issues with round-off on the nipples when tightening them up to proper tension. In situations where I have cut and re-rolled threads on my Phil Wood spoke machine to make a shorter spoke, the resulting thread quality of the cut spoke has been very good. I have no hesitation on using these spokes for any of the wheel building that I have done. A good value spoke for the money!
