Clogs up quickly

Clogs up quickly, even after washing it still doesn't drain well. Wish I had gotten one that used filters.

Great product for how I use it!
Great construction! I previously had one with a glass cone & mesh filter but the glass broke while washing dishes once. This product I will not need to worry about.
I still prefer to brew my coffee in a french press for a few reasons.
1) I prefer fine ground coffee beans as opposed a medium grind. I feel a get better flavor from fine ground beans but in turn that also produces a lot of sediment at the bottom of my coffee cup.
2) I hate having to measure out how much water I need to use every morning. I use a single serving french press & just fill it to the top. No measuring.
3) Brewing only in a stainless filter I have found sometimes you have to stir the coffee brewing in the filter & this can cause mess & spillage. I hate wasting the coffee & having to wipe up from the process.
So the reason for my purchase of this product is to filter out the sediment. I typically brew with a single serving french press & then filter through the stainless steel coffee dripper. I fill the dripper all the way to the top with the brewed coffee so the full surface area of the filter can catch as much sediment as possible. Dump grings, rinse french press & stainless coffee filter and set to dry.
Rich flavor coffee, no measuring, no mess, & no sediment.

Yirgacheffe tastes more flavorful

I use a Japanese wonderful paper drip and had no intention to buy a stainless coffee drip until I read about high quality Yirgacheffe coffee which I enjoy vey much lately. It says that a mesh type dripper can be used to enhance its real flavor.
So I ended up choosing this stainless steel coffee dripper with suspicion. The reviews are so good to be true. Now I am writing a review of similar kind. It surpassed my expectations in both product and service. It is true that it is well-made, no mess easy clean, and on the top of that Yirgacheff tastes more flavorful and it arrived a day earlier than expected.
