Granted I just received the product, I so far thoroughly love and enjoy! It is just the look I wanted! For the money you cannot beat it. Looks great with the new backsplash, standard counter height is 34.5in. This product is right at 34. Nit picky but it could stand to be about an 1/4inch higher to help close the small gap a little tighter. With the hinge placement, installing a small strip of wood above it would be a little too difficult and might interfere with the door opening. The depth and width are absolutely perfect for a 15" cut out. I installed in a corner of my kitchen and couldn't ask for a better look. The lock is FANTASTIC as well to help deter the kids from taking drinks or leaving the door open to long. You will quickly notice that leaving the door ajar for any amount of time, will quickly raise the internal temperature. The drinks do stay nice and cool at 38 and the machine is very quiet. Haven't noticed it running once and not sure how that has ever been an issue for anybody. The blue led is a nice touch. One thing I would have loved to see is a shelf or 2 designed specifically for wine bottles. With a limited space in the kitchen it was hard, for at least me to do anything larger than a 15" without losing too much cabinet space. Would be nice to find a more mixed design in the 15" that didn't break the bank, but hey for the reasonable price of this, maybe that is too much of an ask. The unit also seems very sturdy with a nice weight that will make it difficult to move around to much in space.

Great option for a built-in cooler. Very visually appealing with the option to switch the door to open on either side (we didn't have to do this, but nice option). Fits perfect in our new cabinets and looks very expensive (well - not that it is a cheap fridge, but) works very well with our other stainless appliances. LOVE the blue light look - we chose to leave it on all the time, but you can select to turn it off as well. It isn't so bright as it is distracting at night, but our fridge is also on the side of the island that it isn't pointing toward the main room where you can see. It also isn't too bright to be able to totally see the cans, but it gives me enough light to be able to guess better. The price on this fridge does fluctuate significantly between websites and even on Amazon, and we were very disappointed when we got a GREAT deal on this, waited for weeks, then Kalamera told us they were going to cancel our order because they didn't have it in stock at the moment. I ended up ordering it on Amazon for the highest price I had seen it anywhere, but we needed it for our kitchen remodel and weren't willing to wait any longer.

A few things: Note that the temperature does not get lower than 38 degrees Fahrenheit (you can choose for it to show Celsius or Fahrenheit), but that has totally been cold enough for us. We can't hear it at all, which is great. I REALLY do wish they had multiple options for drawer height though. I love that it can hold around 96 cans, but I also like being able to stand all cans up, so I would be willing to lose some can space to be able to stand up a few more rows. There isn't an option to do this unless you completely remove a drawer, which would give too much of a gap for my taste. I also love the option of locking it. Once we have children running around, I imagine this will be handy so little hands don't end up leaving it open or getting into alcoholic drinks they shouldn't. You can also fit a wine bottle in here comfortably because it's so deep and there is enough room, even on the skinny spaces, for wine.

Overall very pleased and wouldn't change it out for another one.

I have read all the reviews on this product and fully understand the good, bad and ugly replies. I researched every similar small built-in refrigerator and made the final decision based on sheer appearance and internal features. We were remodelling our master closet and we built a space specifically for thIs item. It fits perfectly, although the leveling legs required slight adjustment. Pay close attention to the depth and consider placing the servicing electrical outlet to the left or right of the cabinet on rear wall to avoid refrigerator plug issues.

We purchased this item in January 2018 but did not install it until late March. It set upright per directions in our garage until we installed. We had to reverse the door and I must say it was much easier than other models that we have and required the same adjustment.

The fridge came packaged and boxed on its own little pallet which precluded damage on the bottom. What a great idea!!! Absolutely no damage, no dents, scraps etc. As far as operation, after about two months, brought it to the living room and plugged it in to check operation and cooling capacity. It took about an hour or less to reach the advertised 38 degrees. Now for us that is fine because we only chill water.I think other drinks like beer and soda require 34 degrees. Our kitchen subzero is set at that number and the beverages are perfect. The little blue light is perfect and very stylish, but the light from the thermostat is bright enough for us. The fridge is so small that you'll lose several degrees when retrieving a bottle, but it will rejuvenate back to 38d in several minutes.

Our little refrigerator came perfect, works perfectly and is stunning to look at. We are now over 30 days in operation - so far so good. It's even $40 cheaper now than our purchase price. Overall, maybe we are just lucky. But our experience, except for customer service which is non-existent, has been perfect.

Kalamera, if you bother to read this, contact me, I would like to know if you really exist.
Four stars simply because customer service does not exist.

Light spacious and really deliver. What is promised

UPDATE: August 29, 2016 -- bumped my rating back up from 3-stars to 5 after Kalamera sent me a replacement control board that fixes the problem where the temp would reset to factory default (62 degrees) after a power interruption. Changing out the board was simple and took less than 10 minutes. I haven't experienced an actual power outage with the new board, but tested it by unplugging the power cord, then plugging it back in. When unit came back on, temp setting was the same as before, so it seems to have fixed the problem.

Also, after 4-months of use, I've found that beverages stay more evenly cold if I don't try to pack the fridge to capacity. I've removed several of the shelves so that all of the cans stand upright, and I make sure that the interior fans in the back are not blocked. Plus, I keep a little space between each can to help with the cold air circulation. I've given up some capacity (60 beers will have to do!), but all of this has helped performance.

UPDATE: June 4, 2016 -- took off 2-stars after discovering that after a power outage, the thermostat resets to its default setting, which is 62 degrees. We had a very brief power interruption (just a second or 2) overnight and discovered later the next evening when we were having a party that everything in the fridge had become warm. I contacted Kalamera support and confirmed that this is normal, i.e., the way it was engineered.

We received this item a week ago but just got it up and running. So far so good. Arrived well-packaged and protected, so no issues with damage. Installation was a little tricky because of the close tolerances of our space. The power cord plug is straight and needed about 3" of clearance from the back wall to allow for the part of the plug that extended from the wall outlet + the space needed to allow for the cord to make a bend. I think they should make this with a flat, offset plug to allow for tight installations. The compressor itself is very quiet but we're getting some minor rattling noise - probably vibration between the cans and metal shelving. The temperature controls are accurate and do get the beverages cold, which is why we bought this model. Shelves can easily be removed to allow for room to stand up taller cans or bottles. The bottom shelf is shorter than the rest; we are using it to hold 16 (.5 liter) bottles of water. This is a heavy duty machine that we expect (and hope!) will last for many years.
