Just know that there is no telescoping power with this telescope. It's just glass or plastic. No magnification at all. But well built and sturdy. It will survive the grandkids.

Kids like it OK enough but I was a bit disappointed for $15. I did not read the description but be aware that it does not actually telescope or magnify.
