Aggressive and good, but they can clog

I bought these disks because of the reviews of how they won't clog. I'm sanding varnished/linseed oiled wood (not exactly sure). Unfortunately they do clog and quickly. after just a few sq' of sanding, the disk was completely clogged. HOWEVER, unlike the 36 grit sanding disks I was using prior, I was able to crack off the most of the crud fairly easily w/sharp blows of the edge of a putty knife. The 3 attached photos show what I am sanding, a disk after only a few minutes of sanding and the same disk after I cleaned it.

Wheels work very well for quickly stripping paint. Work with caution though, even using brief contact and brushing only what I thought was paint, I ended up creating a scalloped texture on the boards! I'm going to try again but am unsure if I can give it a gentle enough touch to not ding the wood.
This product lasts much longer for half the price and does just as good of a job

In the past I used the 3m version of this product at 14 bucks each. This product lasts much longer for half the price and does just as good of a job. I would highly recommend these stripping wheels.

Excellent strippers! I removed rust from four steel chairs over the course of four to five hours of heavy use. The first disc hardly shows any wear, despite the amount of use. Heavy duty and long lasting for that application. They can leave a nice 'swirl' in the steel, if that's the look you want.

For those unacquainted, these disc have revolutionized the removal of rust, old paint, debris from any surface. They have replaced my belt sander and have sped up repair and remodeling.
