My daughter has been playing competitive club/ school volleyball for ~5 years. We bought one of these for her last season at the recommendation of another parent. She will not take the court without it now; the protection is superb and it tucks under her spandex without being visible. We actually just bought a second so she can "rotate" equipment on an aggressive practice schedule. I'd recommend any player in a libero or DS position consider one. My daughter is a setter but still loves the protection on those rogue second balls she chases. Quality is good, stitching and fabric still great shape after a 9 month club season... highly recommended

My daughter is 13 and has played volleyball for 5 years. She's always been a diver and has often had terrible bruising on her hips. Now that she is older and heavier it's gotten much harder on her little hip bones to dive the way she does, so I decided to see if there was a solution to this issue. I was very happy to see that there was a product made for this very problem! I purchased it and my daughter absolutely loves it! Fits perfectly! you can't see it underneath her shirt, it doesn't shift or move when she dives and it has protected her tiny hipbones perfectly! She says it feels wonderful when she dives. Yay! I absolutely recommend this product, 100%! I also recommend arm pads as those have been a life saver as well.
