These are the best way to chop cilantro or parsley for cooking. They can be a little difficult to clean but nothing that makes me say "nah, I'll just use a knife"

First, you need to know, these are NOT easy to clean but, they ARE worth the trouble for the ease of shredding fresh herbs! I love mine & bought one each, for my cousin & aunt who are huge fans of my Cowboy Caviar: 6 huge garden fresh tomatoes, 2 green bell peppers, 2 red bell peppers, 6-8 jalapeño peppers, 6 minced garlic cloves, 2 bunches green onions, 1 bunch cilantro, 1 large sweet onion, 2 cans black beans - rinsed & drained, 2 cans Green Giant white shoepeg corn,2 teaspoons salt, 1 heaping teaspoon coarse ground black pepper, cumin to taste, 2-3 bottles Ortega taco sauce (mild, medium, or hot-whatever you prefer). I seed all the peppers. Use gloves to seed jalapeños. Stir all together & chill 2 hours or more before serving with tortilla chips or celery. Everyone LOVES it!

It works, so there you go. We use it mostly for onions. As long as your veggie has some rigidity, it sheers through no problem. If it's starting to go bad, these may have trouble cutting. Then again, if they're going bad you should buy fresh vegetables, so take that for what it's worth. Obviously knowing this fact, I have no room to throw stones.
Cleaning is easy, although I haven't had them long enough to know if rust will be an issue. We do continue to use them, and it makes certain jobs much easier and faster, so I'd probably buy again.

These work great on our Aerogarden herbs.

These scissors are great for us to "mince" basil, and other herbs from our Aerogarden. They make it a pick-cut-go process on the fly, even in the middle of making a nice dish.
The included cover makes it super easy to clean because it has tines on the tip to clean between each blade.
The blades are not super stuff, or robust, so this would not work for meats, vegetables, etc.
But for herbs, perfect.

This is the 2nd one I have given as a gift to my favorite cooks. It took me forever to chop up my burns, but with my Herb Sissors has the job done so quickly and I can hold them as I snip, right over the bowl, or my pot on the stove.
