Good fun and good exercise.

This is the best thing we bought for our young son. We got him started on it at 18months. With a little practice, he started riding straight lines and then only left turns (he pushes with his left foot). By 2 years old he was an expert with great balance and turning left and right. He's 2.5 years old now and very good on this thing holding his leg out to make sharper turns. My wife and I bought a micro Monster scooter for adults to chase him on. It has become a fun family activity.
perfect color.

I got Micro Mini Scooter for my 2 year old girl, it's prefect size, perfect color.
Great quality but visibly used/dirty

This is a great quality scooter and worth the higher price point however my new scooter arrived used/dirty. There was clumps of dirt on the handles and foot board and the wheels are scuffed. It must have been previously used/returned. The cardboard packing had already been torn - the scooter was just lying loose inside the box, the manuals and documents refolded incorrectly. I purchased the Max version of this for my 5 year old earlier this year and there was a clear difference in packing and that was obviously brand new and clean.
Though just like the Max version, this Mini seems well made, durable and smooth. I'm not a fan of returning items so I cleaned it up and it appears to be aligned with no structural issues (at least I hope not) so I will keep it as a Christmas gift for my 18 month old. Though I find it extremely frustrating to purchase a product that the sellers didn't take the time and attention to inspect, clean and repack correctly. It makes me wonder if there could be damage I'm not aware of until my child uses it. When it comes to children's equipment, I would hope vendors would put a bit more attention to what they are sending out.

Safe for dainty little girls!

My girls are very dainty, so they weren't into scooters (or bikes) or anything they could fall of, until we got them these. They feel safe on them.
My oldest is 5 now and 42 inches tall and the height is just right for her with the pole fully extended, so I'd recommend to go with the Maxi for kids 40" and up.

we loved the Micro Mini we had before

This is our second Mini scooter; we loved the Micro Mini we had before. However, this one was defective as it was impossible to disassemble (the button on the bottom of the board would not engage.) We were on our way to the airport and had to have it in two pieces to bring on board, so we took it apart and fixed the issue instead of sending back to Amazon. However, in the process, the height control button stopped working.... Long story short, the scooter is wobbly now, and we will have to invest in another one after only a couple of months of use.
