This review is for the 'Wrangler Authentics Men's Classic Relaxed Fit Cargo Short.' I LOVE that this style does NOT have elastic waistbands. I find those end up stretching out so much you get maybe one or two wearings before you must shrink them back down by washing. Wrangler shorts have been a go-to brand for me for over a decade: they're reasonably-priced, fit well, look good and last for five+ years. In my experience the Velcro wears out long before the material.
Fit Note: I typically wear a 33 waist in pants from Levi's, Banana Republic, J. Crew and Eddie Bauer. I ordered that size in three colors: Dark Putty, British Khaki Twill & Military Ripstop. All fit as-expected except for the Dark Putty, which I returned as it felt maybe half-to-one size small. I don't know if this was due to a manufacturing variance, different plant, material or etc. If you're borderline between two sizes, you may want to order both and keep whichever fits best. Thanks to the 65/35 cotton/poly blend, I didn't notice any shrinkage after washing (warm with dryer on low).
