This was my first RC boat and so this was a learning experience. I bought this as a GoPro platform because I wanted a twin hull for stability. For that purpose, it's just superb. Didn't notice it didn't come with the required batteries; my fault, that's right in the description. The responsiveness is absolutely superb. The speed and handling are just unreal; for my purposes it's almost too fast. If you're looking for these characteristics I think you'll be happy. It has no reverse, which surprised me. The hull is a bit on the light side; it appears to be vacuum formed ABS and so it's very thin. The cowl, or cover, is made the same way, and so it does not have the rigidity to make a tight seal to the hull and actually puckers slightly when installed in one place. I found that using hatch tape solves this. All in all a good product, no RC to boat link problems at all, but the hull quality is just a little shy of what I expected for the price. A more experienced PC enthusiast would probably have been able to provide you with better insights.

One of the best boats I've owned. I use a 2200 mhs or 4100mah 3s,and that will give you plenty of fun and runtime!
