I bought this to keep our concrete patio/gazebo area free of leaves, grass, dirt and other debris and partly because the power source matches the grass trimmer/edger and tree pole trimmer that we currently have. I bought it too late in the fall season to use it for the leaves, however I decided to charge the battery and keep it by our entryway to clear snow off our steps and walkway.

So far, as long as the snow is of the light fluffy variety and isn't too deep, it works beautifully. Plus it works great to clear the snow off my wife and my vehicles. It has some decent power to it and so far I haven't had to recharge the battery. I would definitely recommend buying this tool, especially if you already have some of the B&D Max tools.

I've been a homeowner for 30 yrs and have blown a lot of leaves in that time. First electric blowers, then gas. I was skeptical how powerful this one would be, and how long the battery life would last. I am delighted with both!!

It's surprisingly powerful, and very convenient (I store it inside my house, in the laundry room). I use it to blow leaves and debris from my porch, walkway, driveway and deck. The battery lasts about 30 mins of semi-continuous use, and you'll likely be surprised with the power this blower puts out. When I have a lot leaves in my lawn, I still use my gas powered blower, but this one is great (and oh-so-convenient) for everything else.

Lightweight too! My wife doesn't want to use my bulky, heavy gas-powered blower, but she's happy to grab this one.

I also like the fact it uses the same battery as my Black & Decker edger, and hedge trimmer ... when the battery goes out on one, I can switch it.

This cordless sweeper was exactly what I was looking for. It is quiet, light weight, and strong enough to blow dirt/ leaves/ grass out of the garage and off the driveway. This is not strong enough to blow leaves in the yard; you'll need to upgrade to a large one for that. This is a broom replacement not a leaf rake replacement.

It is a week old and is making my life much easier. I have a Toro Super Leaf Blower but it is a lot of effort to use for cleaning off sidewalks, driveways, patios, etc. The B&D cordless is easy to use and is more than enough powerful for these light jobs. The Toro shines in getting the big piles of leaves moving and cleaning them out of the bushes.

The reason I bought this unit was because I already have the black & decker battery hedge trimmer and wanted to stay with the same battery and charging system.
The pros are that it is extremely light weight and handles well. It is very quiet which is a plus for me in my living environment.
The cons are that the blowing power is very weak. It feels more like 40mph rather than the 130mph advertised. Very disappointed.
It also gobbles up battery voltage and starts weakening by the minute as I use it. I am going to keep it and us it for my patio and front porch area and for blowing water off my car after washing. I do not see myself using it for any serious leaf clean ups.
