This is a great little hair catcher. I took a shower/washed my (long) hair just to try it out, and I think it caught every single hair, and it didn't interfere with the water flow either. Like some of the other reviewers, I cleaned it off after this initial use, and it makes sense to clean it off regularly, otherwise the accumulated hair and soap/shampoo scum will be pretty gross. But otherwise, it's a great little thing.

Sometimes being a girl is so frustrating - always shedding hair everywhere and getting drains clogged!! Someone gifted this to me and I found it's the BEST way to catch hair and any weird gunk from going down your shower drain to avoid clogging it up. I've used the strain-like catchers which tend to cover up the holes and then start plugging up your tub because the hair doesn't allow water to pass through to the drain. This one catches hair but goes deep enough into the tub to still allow water to make it through the holes so your tub doesn't start to flood. It does get a bit dirty though so you need to also clean it often!
