Had to throw away because I couldn't clean it.

I had 2 litter boxes on it side by side and there was lots of room in front for my cats to walk. It did a very good job of catching the litter, but I ended up throwing it away after a couple of weeks. Two of my three cats are elderly. One tends to spray outside of the box, while the other thinks that rugs are fair game. Cleaning urine or feces from the mat is impossible without a power washer or a place to soak and scrub. Outside washing is out of the question now during winter, and I don't have a large enough area for scrubbing it. Spot cleaning it will not work because everything gets trapped in the loops of the material. If you have well behaved cats and are only looking for reducing the tracked litter, then it works very well. Otherwise, it's completely impractical.

I bought two of these mats for my laundry room where we keep our cat box. I purchased the first one on its own since another reviewer claimed that there is a $5 off coupon when you buy one. Sure enough, the coupon came with the mat and I bought a second one. These mats look so much nicer than a traditional cat mat. Most people would assume that it's just a floor rug. I have also found that it takes a couple of weeks for our 2 cats to get a noticeable amount of litter on them. Another reviewer claimed that a vacuum cleaner doesn't work on them, but mine does. The hand held vac doesn't seem to have enough suction, but a regular vacuum cleaner does the trick well. I have included photos of the brown mats. The litter you see is after 2 and a half weeks without vacuuming them, and the visible litter is still minimal. These mats also have a rubbery finish on the bottom, so they don't slide at all. I highly recommend these if you want something that looks nice, but still helps trap litter.

Great idea, but doesn't quite work as well as I'd hoped. It vacuums up very easily, so that's nice. It's also large enough to catch a good amount of litter from tracking, but I still have to vacuum/sweep around the mat and into the three surrounding rooms daily. Not sure if my cats jump over the mat or what's going on, but it's still a mess to clean. I also had to air it out for a few days due to a very strong chemical smell. Seems easier to keep clean than other mats I've had, but not sure I'd buy it again.
We didn't get this for our cat. But it works awesome.

We actually didn't buy this for our cats litter pad. We got this for our dogs food and water mat. We have a Bull mastiff and a Weimeraner. Both are sloppy drinkers and our mastiff is a sloppy eater. It works well for this as well. Very happy with the product and it's the right size for 2 large dogs and their food/ water bowls. Help keeps the floor clean. My wife and I are very happy with the purchase. We will probably buy another one for a different eating area. It's very hard to find a mat large enough when you have a mastiff. Let alone 2 large dogs. I'd recommend it to anyone for their cats and for a feeding area for their large dogs. My wife and I are working on a blog and a new business where we talk about things for large dogs. This is something we really liked. Our new business is about adventure gear and taking large dogs along with people on their adventures. We are working on selling gear for peopl and their pets. This is a product I'd fully endorse.

I bought two of these gigantic mats and slightly overlapped them so I could put them in a corner with four boxes on them. Catches all the litter and fallen turds that don't make it into the box. Haven't had to deal with pee so far, but I'm sure it would not be an issue. I use a brushless vacuum on it daily after scooping.
