Fits Behind My Low-Profile TV Mount
S. Scott✓ Verified Purchase•February 18, 2024
First thing to know is the the orientation of the side plugs is 90 degrees different than the product photo. That did not make a difference for me, but it could for some.
Assuming the joule rating is accurate and the thing works, this is a great low-profile surge protector for TVs mounted on low-profile mounts. I thought is was overly expensive at first, but after some research, I realized it is priced about right for what it is purported to do.
I have an inexpensive TV in my garage, mounted to the wall with a low-profile fixed flat mount, and had a hard time finding a surge protector to fit behind it (no room for a power strip). This device does the job for my application, but your mileage may vary. My TV has a 2 prong plug that fits just fine. The only device I have plugged into the TV is a Roku Streaming Stick Plus, which is powered by the TV's USB port.

Bought two of these for adjustable bed bases. Fits snugly against the wall and better yet - it has a light that alerts you if it has been used or needs to be replaced.
Worked well

Buy this if you live in a city and or apartment complex.. they frequently have power issues and outages, so these little guys will protect your devices from getting fried.. now if your house gets hit by lightning that's another story.. great buy
Product Photo Is Misleading, but Still Works Fine

I purchased this for a dishwasher plug mounted under our kitchen sink. The top edge is low enough that it doesn't block the second outlet. However, as some others have pointed out, the outlets on the surge protector are not vertical (as pictured on the Amazon site), but horizontal. For my use this was actually an advantage, but might not work out well for others.
